Makor Hashayish manufactures, imports and installs marble and natural stone. Our facility runs CNC machinery for precise cutting and finishing, while direct import lets us offer attractive pricing without compromising on quality. From measurement to installation
Consultation and slab selection
Settle the material, finish and tone with us at the Rishon LeZion showroom. For natural stone we go on from there together to the supplier, to choose the actual slab.
On-site measurement
A technician measures your space digitally and produces an exact cutting plan.
CNC fabrication
Cutting, polishing, sink and cooktop cutouts and edge profiling — all in our own facility.
Professional installation
Our installation team fits, bonds and seals on site — and leaves the space clean.
Choosing the material
A natural slab is chosen by eye
Porcelain and quartz are manufactured, and one slab looks like the next — those you choose by model name or photograph, without leaving the house. Natural stone is the opposite: every slab is cut from a different block, and no two slabs of the same stone are alike. So we drive out to the supplier's yard with you, look at the slabs themselves, and pick the one going into your kitchen.

What clients ask us
How long does it take from order to installation?
On average 10–14 working days: on-site measurement within 2–3 days of ordering, about a week of fabrication, and installation in a single day for most residential projects. Materials that require a special import order can take longer.
What is the difference between natural marble, quartz and porcelain?
Natural marble is quarried, so every slab is unique; it is porous, sensitive to acids and needs sealing. Engineered quartz is manufactured from quartz grains and resin — completely uniform, non-porous and needs no sealing. Porcelain is a ceramic slab fired at high temperature, with near-zero absorption and the highest resistance to heat and scratching.
Can I see the slab before ordering?
With natural stone — absolutely, and it is close to essential. Every slab is cut from a different block and the difference between one and the next is significant, so we drive out to the supplier's yard with you and choose the specific slab going into your home; a catalogue photograph never tells the whole story. Porcelain and quartz need no such trip: they are manufactured, one slab looks like the next, and a model name or a photograph is enough.
How much does a kitchen worktop cost?
Price depends on the material, area, thickness and fabrication work. As a reference point, quartz worktops start around ₪690 per m² and premium natural marble can reach ₪1,450 per m² and above. The cost estimator on this site gives you an initial range in under a minute.
Do you install nationwide?
Yes. Our facility and showroom are in Rishon LeZion, and we carry out measurements and installations across most of the country. Remote areas may carry an additional delivery charge, which we state up front in the quote.
How do I maintain a natural marble surface?
Daily cleaning with a pH-neutral soap and a soft cloth, immediate wiping of acidic liquids such as lemon, wine and bleach, and periodic sealing every 12–18 months. We supply a sealing kit and full instructions with every natural marble installation.
