A mid concrete grey, almost entirely uniform, revealing only up close the soft clouds of tone and the finest white and dark lines scattered through it. There is no pattern you could point at — there is depth.

This is the range's true neutral ground: a mid-strength grey pulls attention in no direction, which makes it the choice when the cabinetry, the splashback or the floor is meant to lead. It is practical too — a mid grey is the tone that shows everyday dirt least, of any colour there is.

Anova Quartz is an Israeli maker and importer based in Be'er Sheva, supplying engineered quartz with a high quartz content and a twelve-year warranty (registered online after installation). The quartz is non-porous — it will not absorb wine, lemon or oil, it never needs resealing, and soap and water handle the daily clean. Like all engineered quartz it is not heat-proof, so a hot pan goes on a trivet rather than on the worktop.
