A warm, quiet beige between cream and greige, running with a soft diagonal layering of lighter and darker grain — closer to a limestone or a fine travertine than to a veined marble. There is no prominent vein and no sharp direction, so it reads almost uniform from across the room and only reveals itself up close.
This is an unusually forgiving choice for a kitchen that gets used: a mid-strength warm tone hides crumbs, dust and water spots far better than a crisp white or a black. It sits well with timber, with cream or olive cabinetry, and with brass and copper.
Anova Quartz is an Israeli maker and importer based in Be'er Sheva, supplying engineered quartz with a high quartz content and a twelve-year warranty (registered online after installation). The quartz is non-porous — it will not absorb wine, lemon or oil, it never needs resealing, and soap and water handle the daily clean. Like all engineered quartz it is not heat-proof, so a hot pan goes on a trivet rather than on the worktop.
