Caesarstone 5810 Black Tempal

A deep charcoal black that reads in broad horizontal strata, with a fine scatter of white speckle over them like a night sky. The pattern is present but quiet — it gives the surface depth instead of turning it into a flat black.

From the Supernatural range, matte, in 1.3, 2 and 3 cm, on a 327 × 164 cm jumbo slab. Worth knowing in advance: a matte black surface is at its best on day one and the most demanding thereafter — it shows dust, dried water spots and fingerprints more than any other colour in the catalogue. If the kitchen is heavily used and nobody will wipe it daily, a mid tone is worth considering.
