Emperador Dark

A rich, dark brown marble with a light, leaf-like vein network. It brings immediate warmth to a space and excels on stairs, wall cladding and window sills where you want to break up white surfaces.

In the kitchen shown it is cut as a waterfall island, its gold veining running the length of the side and stopping exactly at the edge. Deep green-grey cabinetry and brass tapware surround it, with a skylight above — with a stone this dark, the natural light is what keeps the room from closing in.
