Silestone Bohemian Flame

From the Le Chic series: a dark charcoal ground crossed by fine, winding copper-toned veins, with tiny metallic flecks in silver and copper that catch the light. The inspiration is lava running over volcanic ground, and the result is a dramatic surface meant to lead a room rather than sit behind it.

Supplied in the Suede finish only — matte to the touch — in 2 and 3 cm, on a 327 × 159 cm slab. Two fair notes: a dark surface shows dust and fingerprints more than a pale one, and a matte finish shows greasy marks more than a polished one. Both are a matter of a regular wipe rather than special maintenance — the quartz itself is non-porous and never needs sealing.
