Silestone Seaport

From the Loft series, which draws throughout on industrial materials: a worn-cement grey ground with white patches and clouds standing out across it, breaking up the uniformity. The result is rough in character rather than polished, and that is the point — a loft, concrete or industrial-leaning kitchen.

Supplied in the Suede finish only, matte to the touch, in 2 and 3 cm, on a 327 × 159 cm slab. The matte finish hides fingerprints and water marks better than a polished one but shows greasy marks more; a regular wipe settles it. The quartz itself is non-porous and never needs sealing, but it is not heat-proof.
